Student Work Showcase
Tuck Everlasting ProjectsAfter finishing the book Tuck Everlasting students were given the opportunity to choose between 16 different project options. These options including making a playable game board, a map of the "Tree Gap", Shadow boxes comparing the Tucks and Fosters homes, a diorama of a scene, video advertisement, rewriting the last chapter of the book, picture books, etc. The students then had a "project museum" where they presented their work to 2nd graders! Here are some of our projects!

Jamestown "wanted" adsAfter learning about the Virginia Charter granted to the London company of Virginia to colonize Jamestown, Virginia, the students created "wanted posters". These "wanted posters" include an advertisement explaining why colonists were needed for Virginia (gold, raw materials, beating Spain the land race, extension of Britain), what kinds of colonists were needed, and the guarantee of British citizenship!
